NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION, Fairfax, VA GRAPHIC DESIGNER -- November 1996 to August 2000
Designed monthly 24-page 4-color magazine and monthly 20-page tabloid newspaper. Responsible for design and all production including photo ideas and art direction. Worked closely with art director and editor in collaborative team effort. Completely redesigned and updated the look of junior magazine to reflect youthful attitude and increase subscriptions.

MACPHERSON DESIGN, Fairfax, VA FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER -- 1988- to November 1996
Variety of work from corporate identity, direct mail brochures, to monthly publications for clients including Union Pacific Corporation, JK Moving & Storage, National Rifle Association, Roman Delight Italian Restaurants, American Iron and Steel Institute, Twinbrook Florist.

Responsible for daily graphic needs of five weekly newspapers and a monthly magazine. Conceived photo/illustration ideas, contracted freelancers. Supervised three artists and four photographers. Responsible for all design and mechanical preparation of 24-page 4-color magazine supplement to Army Times, Navy Times and Air Force Times newspapers.
